After nearly 300 posts, I feel that it is time to bid au revoir.  I am not saying goodbye forever, but I am signing off for a while.  In our crazy world of texting, tweeting, pinning, posting, liking, facebooking, instagraming (and there are so many more…), I need a break.  I need to take a few steps back and just un-plug for a while.

In the mean time, I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and beyond.  Look at wrapping your gifts as a privilege, not a burden. Enjoy your friends and family.  Sit down with your kids and play a board game.    Have a 7th grade make out session with your significant other.  Go to a yoga class.   Smile at a stranger.  Donate.  Take a vacation.  Go live.

I recently purchased these vintage 60′s, 70′s and 80′s Barbie outfits at our school’s silent auction.  I thought they were so amazing, I had to keep some for art (above).  I gave the rest to my girls so they (we) could play with them.  I love these clothes!!!

I realized that we can and have taken a lot of fashion tips from Barbie.  See below: color blocking, metallic, neon, fur, colored leather, hounds tooth, tall boots, big earrings, etc… Barbie is one hip chick.

Never let leather intimidate you.  People have frequently asked me if it can be worn during the day or during certain times of the year.  Absolutely!!! Wear it anytime, anywhere.
